THE MIX
At SouthBridge
The Mix is the combination of stylish one-of-a-kind restaurants and trend-setting fashion independent boutiques and eclectic shops, hand-picked by successful retailer Jennifer Croll. The hip collection of mix-and-mingle-style independent shops is stocked with up-to-the-minute fashions and furnishings that make them the place to go for that elusive "have-to-have" item of the moment, from women's fashions to an exclusive children's line. Notably absent are any national chain stores, preserving the independent spirit of Scottsdale's SouthBridge district.
The three buildings of The Mix comprise more than 30,000 square feet of retail space, each individually themed:
Nest
Nest showcases home furnishings, linens, bath, baby, floral, and garden/patio shops with wonderful French music setting the tone.
Live
Live broadcasts hip, high-energy music into an array of 25 shops including trend-setting couture from designers such as Stella McCartney and Chloe, high-end shoes, "hot" denim, swimwear, lingerie, an eclectic children's shop with a "candy bar," and a spa lounge. Men's fashions are showcased throughout Mix including a space complete with a bar and a plasma television tuned in to sports. A spectacular circular staircase leads to the second level and CANAL; a restaurant for Scottsdale's most fashionable. Thursday through Saturday nights, HARLOW is an invitation list-only club for the private party scene.
Play
Play features a toy store and, for the creatively inclined, interactive retailing such as a pottery-making shop. This building features a high-end sneaker store run by a famous local athlete as well as a sports memorabilia non-profit shop highlights local celebrity athletes while giving back to the community.
Cherish & Treasure
Stores in the other buildings themed Cherish and Treasure include a high-end Bridal Boutique, Make-up and perfume bar, Scrap-booking, custom hand-bag and doggie carrier bag store, as well as a wonderful cigar, high-end pens, Custom silversmith and chocolatier shops all add to this global destination called THE MIX.
Fashion shows and live modeling infuse The Mix with a dynamic energy, while private shopping rooms, private events, VIP MIX CLUB valet and transport service add to its upscale ambience.
